Parliamentarians of South Ossetia ratified Agreement with Abkhazia on international transport links

The agreement was signed on June 25 in Sukhum.

At the fifth meeting of the second session of the parliament of South Ossetia, held on Thursday, the deputies unanimously ratified the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia and Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on international automobile traffic." 

 The question was put forward by head of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Zaza Dryaev: “The agreement regulates transportation of passengers and goods on international road links between South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Transit through their territory, as well as to third states (from third states) by vehicles registered in South Ossetia or Abkhazia. ”
 
 The parliamentarian noted that first transportation between the two states will be possible after the adoption of the Agreement.
