Passports of a new sample have already been received by over 70,000 citizens of Abkhazia

 As stated the message, head of the Passport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Eduard Manargiya informed Astamur Ketsba about the peculiarities of the process of documenting the citizens of Abkhazia with passports of a new type. According to Manargiya, more than 70,000 citizens of Abkhazia received new passports.
  
 However, that the process of issuing a new passport will not be completed by the end of 2018. "There is a decline in the number of applications for a new passport in some district passport offices," - Manargiya said.
  
 For his part, Astamur Ketsba stressed that in the work of Passport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs it is important  to establish cooperation with district administrations, migration service, and district police departments. "Any problems arising in the process of optimizing issuing of new passports to citizens of Abkhazia should be discussed urgently. The process of documenting citizens should become simple, but at the same time, improved, "- said Ketsba.
  
 Vice Prime Minister also noted that such working meetings should become systematic with an extended circle of negotiators.
