President considers it necessary to discuss all issues at the negotiating table

Sukhum. January 9. Apsnypress. In connection with adoption of Resolution of the National Assembly of Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia on an appeal to President on voluntary resignation, the Presidential Press Office distributed the following statement  

  “The appeal adopted by Parliament, despite the stated goal of avoiding further destabilization, can only complicate the socio-political situation and lead to irreversible consequences for the country.
 
Opposition representatives have repeatedly stated that they will wait for the Supreme Court decision following the election results and act strictly in the legal field. Realizing the futility of their demands in court, the opposition decided to move to radical methods.
 
 For the sake of reaching a national agreement and maintaining stability President considers it necessary to discuss all issues at the negotiating table. ”
