Raul Khadjimba held a working meeting dedicated to the revitalization of the Interior Ministry and its departments in towns and districts of the country.
Sukhum. June 22. Apsnypress. The chiefs of towns and regional police agencies reported to the President on the situation in the fight against crime and crime prevention.
Raul Khadjimba stressed the need to strengthen the work on the collection and analysis of operational information concerning criminal persons and stressed the importance of strengthening the institution of the district policemen. He noted that the work of the Interior Ministry and its departments should be carried out in emergency mode, especially taking into account the start of the holiday season.
The President instructed the Interior Minister Beslan Khagba to strengthen systematic patrols in towns and districts of the republic and the entire personnel of the Ministry of Interior to move to a stronger version of service, and to provide security in the daytime and at night, on the roads, and the territory of the settlements, especially in crowded places vacationers.
The meeting also discussed the work of UGAI and patrol. Raul Khadjimba tasked the leadership of the Interior Ministry to prepare proposals for the abolition of technical inspection of private vehicles, and at the same time strengthen the work on systematic technical inspection of the vehicles, which are involved in passenger and freight traffic.
The President instructed the Interior Ministry to prepare proposals for strengthening the measures of responsibility towards citizens, systematically violate traffic rules, in particular persons detained for driving a motor vehicle in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication.
The President proposed to consider as a sentencing repeat offenders of traffic rules - provisional arrest, and subsequently the forfeiture of the vehicle.
The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Abkhazia Mohamed Kilba.
