President met with opposition representatives

Head of state invited the opposition representatives to consider the possibility of postponing the presidential election.

Sukhum. May 22. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba met with representatives of the opposition forces - Nodar Kakubava, Teimuraz Khishba and Sergey Shamba.
 
 The meeting with representatives of the opposition forces was attended by Minister of Defense Mirab Kishmaria and First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Shamba.
 
  Head of state invited opposition representatives to consider the possibility of postponing the presidential election for a term within the framework of the Constitution and the term of the constitutional powers of the current President - August 25, 2019.
 
 In addition, Raul Khadzhimba noted that he will come out in support if the Central Election Commission considers it possible for Aslan Bzhania to be registered as a presidential candidate in his absence, and also if the CEC commission accepting the presidential candidates for knowledge of the state language considers it possible to count Aslan Bzhania's exam results in 2014.
 
 As noted the message, these proposals were accepted by the opposition representatives.
