President of Abkhazia accepted the resignation of the Government

The Government resigned at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Sukhum. April 24. Apsnypress. At a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia, in accordance with Article 6 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Abkhazia “On the Cabinet of Ministers (Government) of the Republic of Abkhazia”, the current composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic resigned before the newly elected President.
RA Prime Minister Valery Bganba addressed the Head of State and the Cabinet of Ministers: “In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Abkhazia, we must consider the issue of the resignation of the Government. I would like to thank everyone for the work we did together. We had a lot of success. Since 2009, the budget was first implemented. Neither pensions, benefits, nor wages have ever been detained. We tried to put in order the Investment program, to carry out activities that passed into the current program of 2017-2019 from 2015, 2016. I would like to thank you for your behavior after the January political events. You have shown not only professionalism, but also patriotism, humanity. All of you stood next to me, one might say, to defend your homeland. Thank you for your work. Now I would like to vote on the resignation of the Government. ”
The decision to resign the Cabinet was unanimously adopted.
President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhaniya, also thanked the Government: “I have a desire to communicate with each of you. I personally do not know many of you, I would like to meet you. Life goes on and work will continue. Now I will sign the Decree on the resignation of the RA Cabinet of Ministers. ”
At the same time, Aslan Bzhaniya informed: “Dear colleagues, a decision has been made to appoint Alexander Ankvab as Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia. Everyone knows him. I wish you, Alexander Zolotinskovich, successful work. ”
President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to fulfill their duties until the formation of a new Government.
