President of Abkhazia arrived on an official visit to Syria

The two Presidents will hold talks within the framework of the visit.

Sukhum. 4 September. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba arrived on an official visit to the Syrian Arab Republic.  

 The head of state was met by Foreign Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic Walid al-Muallam.
  
 As noted the message, during the visit there will be talks between the presidents of the two countries. During the talks, President of the Republic of Abkhazia and President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Assad are planning to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation, as well as the development of Abkhaz-Syrian relations.
  
 The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by President Raul Khajimba, includes Prime Minister Gennady Gagulia, Head of the Presidential Administration Beslan Bartsits, Secretary of the Security Council Muhamed Kilba, Foreign Minister Daur Kove, Defense Minister Mirab Kishmariya, Minister of Economy Adgur Ardzinba.
  
 As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Syrian Arab Republic, an intergovernmental Agreement on the establishment of a joint Syrian-Abkhaz committee on economic, trade, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, as well as an intergovernmental agreement in the field of promoting trade and economic cooperation.
