Sukhum. November 22. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba received co-chairs of the Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasusia.

Raul Khajimba welcomed the guests and also assessed the negotiation process.
“We understand that not everything can be achieved immediately. But there are certain issues that must be understood in many European countries. The rules of international law are not spelled out for individual countries. We also have the right to live, develop, communicate with the outside world. But so far there is little understanding that Abkhazia is a state, has the need to interact with the world community. Therefore, we put on this platform issues of a humanitarian nature, including the possibility of overseas visits of our citizens, the presentation of our position in various international organizations, ” - Khajimba said.
The meeting participants noted the possibility and necessity of developing ways for more efficient use of the Geneva Discussions platform.
