President on the list of persons who did not return Sberbank loans: all materials will be submitted to the media

President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba met with the activists of Sukhum district.

Sukhum. 31 January. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba held a meeting with the public of Sukhum district. 

 The head of state stressed that Sukhum district is one of the best in fulfilling budgetary indicators. At the same time he added, "this does not mean that you can quickly implement all the tasks set." 

 President called the most important events in the region: "This is a water supply problem, bank protection works, a lot has been done on the upper Eshera road, in particular, certain volumes of work to strengthen the supporting walls. We do everything, taking into account the financial possibilities of the country. " 

 In addition, Raul Khajimba told about the plans in the area. According to him, it is necessary to create a monument to those who died in Eschera front line: "A corresponding project should be developed, approved by the Commission on Monumental Art. We expect that this will be done in the near future, and then we can talk about starting work. " Also, there are plans to include the restoration of Eshera school in new comprehensive plan. "This historical school should be restored," - President said.
 
 Khajimba spoke about the course of reforms in the country: "The conditions for the bailiffs' work have been created. We have implemented the Treasury, which allows us to more tightly control the costs of government agencies. But there is not always the willingness to go for the reforms that we propose. Some time ago, the Program "25 Steps of Economic Development" was discussed with the Government. Without corresponding work in Parliament it is impossible to implement this program, because it is connected with additional constitutional reforms. There should be joint work if we are ready to implement the Program. In addition, we began to administer taxes, this led to the fact that there have become more opportunities. We want to expand production capacity. For this purpose, we turned to business structures. I am ready to raise the issue of removing such a tax as a profit tax, but on one condition: all those engaged in production must demonstrate where the income tax goes, what is expected to be done by next year, how many opportunities will be created by this or that leader. But often entrepreneurs do not really want to demonstrate opportunities. " 

 At the same time in response to import VAT, President explained: "This is an opportunity to create conditions for an internal producer. We still import the same tomatoes from Georgia. And those who import them are dumped in the market, and our producers suffer. There are 8 greenhouses in the country, we need to create conditions for people. In addition, a significant amount of alcohol, water and carbonated water is imported. We have our producers, why should not we help them? "


President reported on changes in tariffs for electricity: "Half of the population does not want to pay for light. Tariffs for light will be increased for government agencies and legal entities, for individuals the tariff for electricity will remain the same - 40 kopecks. " 

 Raul Khajimba commented on the political situation in the country: "We do not always have the same political views with these or those politicians. But this does not mean that we are enemies. We always found the opportunity to talk. Today we need to unite the efforts of all people. 

 President explained his request to Prosecutor General Zurab Achba to publish a list of persons who did not return loans to Sberbank of the Republic of Abkhazia. According to him, there has been created a working group which includes Chairman of the National Bank, Prosecutor General, Minister of the Interior and Chief Bailiff. As a result of work, all materials will be submitted to the media. "Pledges for loans were apartments that did not cost even 500 thousand rubles, and they took 3-5 million rubles," - Khajimba said. 

Answering questions of meeting participants, head of state gave appropriate instructions to head of Sukhum district administration, in particular, to repair water supply networks, road infrastructure, and solve problems in the electric power industry.
