President Raul Khadjimba took sambo bronze medalist Boris Bagateliya

The athlete told the head of state about his successes and shared plans for the future.

Sukhum. November 7. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba took bronze medalist of the World Sambo Championship among veterans Boris Bagateliya, held from 21 to 24 October in the town of Porec (Croatia). The athlete played for the Russian national team.
 
 "You glorify Abkhazia, continue to work, in spite of the age. I am confident that you will continue to progress. And we will provide all possible assistance ", - said the head of state, opening the meeting.
 
 At the same time, Raul Khadjimba noted that Boris Bagateliya was a participant of the War of Abkhazia and was seriously injured.
 
For his part, Boris Bagateliya stressed that this is his first meeting with the President. "Sport is not an easy task. I was for the fourth time at the World Championships and got third place. I competed with strong sambo wrestler from Uzbekistan ", -told Bagateliya. The athlete also said that he intends next year to take revenge on the competition in Turkey.
