President summed up the Abkhaz-Russian military exercises

The meeting on summing up the results of the Abkhaz-Russian military exercises was held at the Administration of President.

Sukhum. May 6. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba held a meeting on summing up the results of the Abkhaz-Russian military exercises.
 
 President noted that progress and results of the exercises indicate the need to pay special attention to the state of all available command posts, issues of communications and ensure the functioning of additional control points in the regions of the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
 Vasily Lunev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia, reported on the main themes and activities of the exercise.
 
 “In accordance with the plan, command-staff exercises were conducted with involvement of the forces and means of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation. The themes of these exercises are: bringing the forces and means into full combat readiness, demonstrating the ability to act to prevent aggression, organizing and conducting combat operations in conditions of destabilization of situation, ”- said Vasily Lunev.
 
 Secretary of Security Council, Mohamed Kilba, summing up the past exercises, said: “In recent years, perhaps a decade, exercises of this magnitude are being held for the first time. In the future, we should increase them and conduct such events. We should pay special attention to equipping control points and bringing them into full compliance with military requirements. It is necessary to ensure the functioning of military control posts in each area. ”
 
As noted the message, Security Council will inform President during the month on progress of tasks assigned to command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia.
