President: The World Football Cup, under the auspices ConIFA in Abkhazia must pass at a high level

President Raul Khadjimba met with representatives of the organizing committee of World Football Cup 2016 under the auspices of ConIFA in Abkhazia.

Sukhum. April 8. Apsnypress. The organizing committee is headed by Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya.
 
 The agenda of the meeting included organizational issues related to the preparation and conduct of the championship, including security issues; were discussed a plan of appropriate measures, the program of the opening and closing of the football championship.
 
 President expressed the hope that under the auspices of ConIFA the World Football Cup in Abkhazia serves as a stimulus to the development of football in the country, as well as to attract the attention of the international sports community to Abkhazia.
 
 "This event should pass at the highest level", - stressed the President.  
 
World Football Cup 2016 under the auspices of ConIFA starts on May 28 - on this day at the stadium "Dynamo" in Sukhum will be held the opening ceremony of the International Tournament. Games of the Championship begin on 29 May. The final takes place on 5 June. 12 teams take part in the tournament.
