President: There would be no an independent and sovereign state of Abkhazia without our women's exploit

President Raul Khadjimba congratulated women of Abkhazia on March 8.

  I heartily congratulate you on a wonderful spring holiday - March 8
 On this wonderful day, carrying a bright new hopes and emotions, we once again thank you, our mothers, wives, daughters and sisters, for your kindness, love and support.
 
 You on a par with men transferred all the hardships of war and on your fragile shoulders carried cares about families and the country in the years of the economic blockade. There would be no an independent and sovereign state of Abkhazia without the heroism of our women.
 
 On this day we traditionally pay tribute to mothers who have brought up the valiant defenders and protectors of Abkhazia.
 
 Glad to see the modern Abkhazian women not only as homemakers, but also reaching the top of various professions, actively involving in social and political life, succeeding in business.
 
 We owe everything to you to be happy. Let all the other days of the year be the holidays for you.
