President: Tkuarchal rersidents should take the decision about what will be the look of the town

 According to Acting Head of Tkuarchal district Administration Aida Chachhaliya, reconstruction of Ardzinba Avenue project has caused a certain resonance in the society due to the fact that it provides the cutting of green plantations.
 
 Chairman of the District Assembly Damir Gorzoliya noted that the Assembly had received a letter from the Head of Administration with the request to approve the project for reconstruction of Ardzinba Avenue. "At the first meeting we decided to postpone the issue until we study it. After conducted survey of residents about felling trees on the avenue Ardzinba with obligatory planting of new trees, the Assembly voted "for" the statement submitted by the project of reconstruction of the street ", - he said.
 
 Director of the construction company contractor Leonty Arshba said that builders were suspended work on laying paving slabs due to the fact that there was a need to resolve the issue with the cutting of trees, the roots of which interfere with the engineering work.
 
 Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology and Nature Savely Tchitanava expressed environmental position on the issue. "On behalf of the President, we have studied the situation. The President trusted me and appointed responsible for the implementation of state policy in the field of ecology. I am convinced that the trees can be saved", - said Savely Tchitanava. He hoped to find such engineering solutions, with which they can carry out the necessary work for the reconstruction, while preserving the alley.
 
 Members of the public called not to politicize the issue, and stop trying to earn political dividends at this.
 
 The deputy of the National Assembly Kan Kvarchia noted that the elected members of the District Assembly expresses the position of the inhabitants of the town, so it seems inappropriate not to take into account the opinion adopted by a qualified majority of deputies.
 
 Raul Khadjimba said that the country's leadership made every effort to improve the socio-economic situation, as well as to change the appearance of Tkuarchal.
 
President expressed his conviction that there will be found the most suitable and acceptable solution for the benefit of Tkuarchal residents. "Tkuarchal residents should take the decision about what will be the look of the town themselves and, in particular, the residents of this street". The Head of State noted that if it will be decided to cut down the trees, planting of new ones should be resolved be residents and agreed with the environmentalists.
