Sukhum. July 8. Apsnypress. President Raul Khadjimba went to Ochamchira District, which is in the flooding zone. The head of state visited the most affected by the torrential rains villages - Tamysh, Kutol, Dzhgerda.
President described the situation as a complex, stressing that the country's leadership is taking all efforts to help the affected citizens.
Raul Khadjimba said that the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducts all the necessary work to eliminate the consequences of the floods, additional forces of MOE are deployed in the region. "Left out of the shores of the river caused damage to private households, road infrastructure, bridges. We will provide peoplewho are in the inundation zone the necessary assistance", - he said.
Director of the State Enterprise "Abhazberegozaschita" Konstantin Tarba reported to the President about the reconstruction work in the disaster zone. According to him, to start work on the full length of liquidations of consequences they must wait for the water level.
Head of the SC "Abhazavtodor" Boris Achba informed the President that traffic on the highway Sukhum-Ochamchira was partially hampered, but now the movement is almost restored.
Work on the liquidation of consequences of floods in the Ochamchira district is under special control of the President.
In order to eliminate the consequences of the disaster, which occurred on 8 July and determination of the damage by the President's Decree there is created the commission, whose chairman is appointed Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya.
In the trip to Ochamchira District Head of State was accompanied by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament Valery Bganba, head of Ochamchira district administration Hrips Jopua, director of the State Enterprise "Abhazberegozaschita" Konstantin Tarba, head of the SC "Abhazavtodor" Boris Achba.
