Prime Minister: Investors must believe us first

Sukhum. June 22. Apsnypress. Answering the question of "Apsnypress" about the outcome of his visit to Tatarstan, Artur Mikvabia said: "As part of the agreement signed with Russia, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia is holding meetings with the Russian Federation. It is necessary to give new impetus to the established friendly relations with the Republic of Tatarstan, which have been established during the war of Abkhazia".

According to him, during the visit were agreed the main directions of mutual cooperation in the cultural, economic and social spheres. Thus, for example, agreed to develop in Abkhazia logistics centers, joint ventures, car service company "KAMAZ". Format of cooperation was also selected: the creation of working groups whose main task - to develop a roadmap of joint activities. 

In addition,  were reached  agreements on the implementation of RA experience of new management models, as well as the academic exchange of students and professionals. Training of Abkhaz students in Tatarstan will be free. 

Further, in Moscow, the Prime Minister held a number of meetings with representatives of the business as well as talked with presidential aide Vladislav Surkov on the implementation of the plans. The main outcome of the meeting in the Russian government - all the agreements remain in force. Specific attention was paid to the expansion of the border crossing "Psou." Because this year the number of tourists expected in Abkhazia is much greater than in previous holiday seasons. 

At the level of business cooperation Arthur Mikvabia  told about the agreements reached with the Managing Director of "United Confectioners" Sergey Nosenko on the construction of the plant for processing nuts (up to 5,000 tons per year), and in the future other crops. 

The Prime Minister also shared his impressions of the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg. "They discussed the fundamental issues of the world economy, - said Arthur Mikvabia. - What I want to point out is a substantive report of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin who spoke in subdued colors with respect to his opponents. And it disarmed them, they had to agree with many of the theses of the President".

At the Forum Arthur Mikvabia met Governor of the Tula and Vladimir regions and agreed to continue cooperation with Abkhazia. Held talks with the company "RusHydro" on the reconstruction work on GES. 

Concluding the press conference, Arthur Mikvabia said: "Investors first must believe us. Therefore it is very important to establish links with the regions and the business community of Russia".
