Arthur Mikvabia discussed problems and issues of preparation for a general medical examination of the population of Abkhazia with the head physicians of a number of medical institutions of the capital.
Sukhum. August 6. Apsnypress. The Prime Minister visited the republican hospital, clinic №2 and antenatal clinic. He praised the level of preparation for the first general medical examination of the population, which will begin in November.
"Clinical examination is an important event, and the government even with their small possibilities will implement this program. The nation's health is our priority", - said the prime minister.
Arthur Mikvabia visited branch of the Republican hospital, including department of obstetrics, where one of the main problems is the need to retrofit the operating unit. According to him, in the Republican Hospital fared well, much worse in the Clinical Hospital №2 and women's clinic, where he was asked for help in the organization of modern laboratories, purchase of diagnostic equipment and repair work premises.
Mikvabia said that the Government intends to seriously address these issues and promised to solve them step by step. He also noted that visiting health facilities are within the budget for 2016 to include the existing problems in the industry. In the future, the Prime Minister is going to visit all the medical institutions of the republic.
"It is necessary to assist in solving problems related to health", - said the prime minister.
