Minister of Health of Abkhazia Andzor Goov met with the president of the Geneva Health Forum, Professor of the University of Geneva Louis Lutan.
The decision about the visit of Professor Lutan was taken in the framework of the Geneva discussions that took place in March last year.
According to the head of the regional office of the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Martha Freeman Geneva discussions focused mainly on issues of security and humanitarian sphere, but in the discussions was an information session and participants decided to focus on health issues.
"We, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Vyacheslav Chirikba decided that during the next scheduled visit, the delegation will include public health experts", - explained Freeman.
Professor Louis Lutan intends to send his work about the study of the problems of diabetes in Abkhazia, and tomorrow in the Republican Hospital will be held a training seminar on diabetes.
