Public organization "Russian Commonwealth" have united

Unifying conference of public organizations "Russian Community".

Public organization "Russian Community" Sukhum, Gali, Ochamchira, Gulripsh district, as well as the youth movement of Abkhazia, "Russian Community", children's recreation center "Rosinka" of Ochamchira and "Association of legal and social assistance to Russian compatriots' have united, creating  Council of the "Russian Commonwealth" without a legal entity. As a chairman of the Board was elected chairman of the "Association of legal and social assistance to Russian compatriots Vladimir Popov. Problems and common challenges of the Commonwealth at the conference discussed the representatives of public organizations "Russian Commonwealth", Rossotrudnichestvo, Public Chamber of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Abkhaz Orthodox Church and others.

According to Vladimir Popov, explaining the purpose of the Council: "We need to bring people together! First and foremost, it is important to reach agreement". According to him, "one of the most important issues in working with the Russian foreign countries is a matter of mutual respect and mutual trust on the part of the Russian Federation, and the compatriots".

Popov voiced criticism of the Abkhaz structures to solve the problems of Russian compatriots. "There is  work, but for the most part reporting on paper", - he stressed. There are specific examples. So, he said, the educational center of the Russian language in eastern Abkhazia on the work of which reports Rossotrudnichestvo, exists only on paper.

Thus, for its part, the public organization "Russian Commonwealth" reported on the work done on the ground and assistance to specific individuals. Also, the newly created Council outlined a number of challenges on how to address agreed upon by representatives of the organizations.

The conference presented the first issue of the newspaper "Russian Community". As a result of the unification conference of the heads of public organizations signed the resolution. In addition, the chairman of the "Russian Commonwealth" Vladimir Popov and the chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Abkhazia Azaret Aiba signed an agreement on cooperation of public organizations.
