"Unfortunately, there are no forces to cover the entire town at once. But, nevertheless, Marr, Pushkin, Leon streets and others have been cleaned of silt. Ministry of Emergency Situations helps, provides emergency vehicles. Work will continue in an emergency mode in all the streets as long as order takes to be restored", - said the head of Sukhum Administration Adgur Kharazia.
Currently cleaning work on Gumskaya street, the most-affected by flood is underway. Flowing in the area river Sukhumka caused considerable damage to the town. Workers manually clean off mud, branches and debris.
