Raul Khadjimba and Rashid Temrezov answered the questions of volunteers - members of the public organization "Union of Abkhazian volunteers of KCR"

Sukhum. April 29. Apsnypress. Responding to questions of volunteers, Raul Khadjimba expressed the position of the Republic of Abkhazia on the simplification of crossing the Abkhaz-Russian border. He stressed the need to create the most comfortable mode of crossing the border with a view to the organization of the conditions for a significant increase in its transparency. "We will not lose our sovereignty, but will get even more - strengthening of our economic relations with Russia", - said the President. 

The Head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov noted in this regard: "The solution to this problem is in the plane of inter-state and should be discussed between the President of the Russian Federation and the President of Abkhazia. We have thoughts, desires and plans about a road that will connect Karachay-Cherkessia with the Black Sea coast. This project is important not only for us but also for Abkhazia, because any way is a push for the development of the territory, a new possibilities. There have been appeals to the President of the Russian Federation and there is support from the government. But there are some financial problems. I propose to return to this issue to ensure what we started - to resume the activities of the working group and begin to work out the project details by the two sides taking into account the new economic realities".  

Khadjimba expressed interest of Abkhaz side in this project. "At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, I raised this issue. It received support. There are problems with our financial capabilities. But we still need this project", - said Raul Khadjimba.
