It was also raised the issue of sanitation, for example, the discharge of domestic waste water without any treatment into the sea.
The representatives of the town concerned about the lack of health funds pledged to work to ensure procedural, surgical, front desk, work emergency teams, despite the fact that the cost of drugs has increased. The work of doctors is complicated by the fact that the town has no x-ray and ultrasound machines.
"Pitsunda always has an enormous potential. On my orders, and on your initiative, there is a working group on the resort Pitsunda. And it has started to work.
We know and we try to solve problems. But the little is done, because not all what was expected was possible to get. There are problems with Russian funding. I've already talked about the mistakes made earlier: where needed tens laid millions of rubles", - said Raul Khadjimba.
The President also spoke about the figures, for example, for the reconstruction of power substations allocated 733 million rubles. Overhaul of apartment buildings on Gagra district - more than 460 mln., 350 million - water in Gagra district, 122 million rubles - kindergartens. "It is important to use this money for intended purpose", - he stressed.
"Financing will not solve all problems. It is necessary to increase ourr own income. If last year there were just over 1,000 tourists, this year at the same time there are more than 5,000 people. I want to say that we have not raised the taxes. By the end of the season all the debts of the resort - will be closed. I am sure that all this was done deliberately. Some wanted to sell the resort.
I think this year's season will be profitable. To do this, all structures must support the people working in this field.
I met with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is necessary to radically change the situation, to tighten relation to criminal elements.
Regarding to Pitsunda's temple, the President noted that it is known far beyond the republic. "When deciding its fate opinion of residents should be considered. But, at the same time, we must remember the history of our nation - it is an Orthodox church. Therefore, the church activities and the fate of the body should not interfere with each other ", - said Raul Khadjimba.
The President assured that, as head of state, he will not allow the self-trapping of land. "In recent years not a single house was built to provide people with apartments. But we have the land. Therefore, it is necessary to solve problems of its lease",- said Khadjimba.
