Sukhum. July 14. Apsnypress. The meeting discussed the basic principles of the budget for 2016, tax optimization to increase own revenues of the budget and the need to improve the tax laws, according to the official website of the President of Abkhazia.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Artur Mikvabia, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Serikov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Astamur Appba, Finance Minister Amra Kvarandziya, Economy Minister Adgur Ardzinba, Advisor to the President Amiran Lagvilava and Head of the Sector Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Presidential Administration of Economics Denis Arshba.
President recalled their tasks to increase own revenues of the budget and noted that this should be done by removing the economy out of the shadows. The need to strengthen the financial discipline of economic entities, including the widespread installation of cash registers.
Khadjimba also noted the importance of optimization and the expenditure side of the budget and the revision of some of its articles. The President instructed to limit the costs of the government. The meeting was directed to prepare within two weeks of its proposals to change the legislation in the field of taxation.
