Raul Khadjimba: I'm not allowed to break the law, the referendum will not be canceled!

RA President Raul Khadjimba came to the people gathered at the Administration and informed about the meeting with the representatives of the opposition.

Sukhum. July 5. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. As RA President Raul Khadjimba, he was visited by representatives of the opposition with the resolution. The document reads in part: "to remove from office the Minister of Internal Affairs, to hold a referendum by absentee ballot in Moscow and Cherkessk, to move the date of the referendum on October or November".
 
 "As long as they are not interested in our opinion, I urge you to bear it all. We must not succumb to this provocation. We have enough forces and resources to solve the problem, as it should be. In no way can be allowed confrontation! I can not resign myself. I can only submit to resign. But I am not allowed to break the law in this situation. The referendum will not be canceled. It was appointed on 10th of July and will be held. There are no other positions!", - emphasized Khadjimba.
 
President of Abkhazia commented on the demand of the opposition to vote on an expired passport: "As for the passports, they said they could vote with expired passports. I agreed. There are only about 4 thousand of such passports. If these 4000 passports will decide the outcome of the referendum, I am ready to agree with this position".
