Raul Khadjimba: it is necessary to solve the issues of raising wages to employees of prison

President of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba held a meeting with Security Council, at which examined the problem of the detention center "Dranda".

Sukhum. October 20. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba said that it is necessary to change the conditions of detention in the detention center. The official website of the President reported.
 
 As Raul Khadjimba stressed: "There are problems that can be solved. These are matters of salary increase for prison staff, as well as providing the necessary technical equipment of the institution".
 
 For his part, RA Minister of Internal Affairs Aslan Kobakhia noted that the problems of detention of criminals have not been solved for 23 years. According to him, the practice shows that the "out of jail "Dranda" may run only in cases of negligence or staff insulator treachery". "My position is principled. I believe that without treachery it is impossible to escape from prison",  - said Aslan Kobakhia.
 
 Minister of the Interior announced the main prison problems. In the first place, according to him it is the lack of motivation to work in isolation from the MUP because of the low salary, which averages from 7 to 10 thousand rubles. And secondly, understaffing prison staff, which is 60%.
 
President instructed Prime Minister of RA Beslan Bartsits on the formation of budget for next year to provide the necessary tools for solving voiced problems.
