Raul Khadjimba met with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bulgaria and the Balkans Omer Mersan Marshan

Sukhum. September 29. Apsnypress. Omer Mersan-Marshan reported to the President about the ongoing work, in particular on the establishment of closer contacts at the level of Chambers of Commerce and representatives of the business community. He noted the high interest of investors in relation to Abkhazia. In addition, Mersan-Marshan noted and difficulties encountered in the work, primarily in connection with an active anti-Abkhazian propaganda by Georgia against the work of our missions abroad. He added that despite this, active work to establish contacts continues. 

Raul Khadjimba stressed the need to create more favorable conditions for foreign investors in the territory of Abkhazia. "We are well aware of the complexity of the decision-making of the political recognition of our independence and do not expect that the process of wide international recognition will be fast", - said President. He added that the establishment of humanitarian and economic ties with the outside world is important for Abkhazia.

The Head of State praised the work of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bulgaria and the Balkan countries for the benefit of the country.
