Raul Khadjimba: our nation can be united by one business, one goal!

RA President Raul Khadjimba spoke at the Congress of the Respublican Political Party "National Unity Forum of Abkhazia".

Sukhum. June 10. Apsnypress. RA President Raul Khadjimba expressed confidence that everything said at the Congress, dictated by a sincere concern for the fate of the country.

The President said: "I understand that there is discontent on certain issues. Undoubtedly, along with the successes and achievements, there are things that could not be achieved yet. But one can say with confidence, I have never allowed myself to steal in relation to my people! I have never been guided"

Khadjimba said about the prospects of a referendum: "I am confident that our people will behave  with usual democracy. And let no one think that everything will go on by scripted in advance. If we want to see in our country continued democratic processes, we need to hold the referendum, according to the law".

The president also expressed his own position: "I spoke openly before, and now I say that I have never clung to one or another chair. The people of Abkhazia has a very hard way of formation. And now, instead of uniting efforts to build a common future together, some so-called patriots bring financial interests above the interests of the Fatherland".

Raul Khadjimba spoke on the goals and prospects of the country: "Once again, we must be able to earn money ourselves. And I think that we can not make allowances for the fact that we are a small nation. We were able to defeat the enemy, succeeded in defending freedom, and for the past 23 years have managed to live and build our independent state! The people must unite. Today I watched the young people who were here. It's obvious that their souls burn for their native Apsny, that they are ready to build the good for the motherland. The World Football Cup held in Abkhazia has demonstrated and proved that our people can be united, when combined with one business, one goal!"

In conclusion, the President recalled: "I want to repeat once again: I assure you that whatever decision will be accepted by my people,I'll take it!"
