Raul Khadjimba: Pitsunda will acquire a new image

RA President Raul Khadjimba is in resorts combining of Pitsunda with a working visit.

Pitsunda. April 8. Apsnypress. Irena Dzhopua. RA President is accompanied by Minister of Resorts and Tourism Avtandil Gartskiya, head of  Gagra district Beslan Bartsits, RA MPs.
 
 The President familiarized with the repair work in four buildings of the RUE "Combining resorts of Pitsunda".
 
 Director of the RUE "OPK Pitsunda" Daur Kurmaziya informed that renovation works are carried out in 4 of 7 cases. These are the bodies: "Bzyb", "Golden Fleece", "Colchis" and "Amra". "The works were started at the same time, at the end of December last year. Their  alterations and repairs are planned. Each room should have a bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioning, television. Already purchased the necessary equipment, in accordance with modern requirements. Construction work took to the finishing stage and will be completed before the end of this month. Finishing works and installation of equipment are planned in May. Opening to be held on June 1", - said Kurmaziya.
 
 In addition, according to the director of RUE "OPK Pitsunda", there is landscaping work of the resort began. "On the territory adjacent to the corps will be planted perennial and annual plantings", - he said.
 
 Daur Kurmaziya noted that in the remaining 3 cases - "Apsny", "Amzara" and "Mayak" - repair work is not scheduled. Nevertheless, they "can be retrofitted with the necessary equipment". "All rooms with conveniences, there also will be installed refrigerators, televisions, free Wi-fi", - said Kurmaziya.
 
 According to the director of RUE "OPK Pitsunda", reconstruction works are carried out in the resort mainly for its own account, as well as by complex contracts. In addition, "it was part of the state aid provided in the form of a loan".
 
 After seeing the resort, RA President Raul Khadjimba, said: "Talking about large-scale reconstruction, it is not necessary, but what is done today on the plan of the resort management, is a serious job. Hopefully, by the beginning of the season all the work will be finished".
 
At the same time, Raul Khadjimba, said: "In the past years, and in Soviet times, despite the fact that the resort was then a new object, its service and state rooms left much to be desired. Today, the rooms are refurbished, the resort is being updated. This gives hope that the resort will get a new image".
