Raul Khadjimba received representatives of the Common Spiritual Board of Muslims of Abkhazia

They discussed topical issues for the Muslim community, aspects of the socio-economic and socio-political development of the country, the problem of moral and spiritual education of the younger generation.

Sukhum. March 30. Apsnypress. The head of state reacted to the request of participants of the meeting about the construction of a mosque in Abkhazia. Raul Khadjimba said that the Administration has been already instructed to study the issue of the allocation of the site for construction.

The representative of the Common Spiritual Board of Muslims, Roman Jugelia noted that in the modern world, Abkhazia is an example of peaceful and neighborly coexistence of representatives of different faiths.

Participants of the meeting also raised the issue of the initiative of some political forces associated with the referendum.

The head of the Common Spiritual Board of Muslims of Abkhazia Salih Kvaratskhelia praised the initiative negatively. "We believe that the initiative to hold a referendum aimed at splitting the society and will only lead to a waste of energy and waste of resources", - he said.

According to Salih Kvaratskhelia, there are more appropriate ways to influence the decisions made, in particular, participation in the elections to the local government and parliamentary elections in 2017.
 
Representatives of the Common spiritual board of Muslims thanked the President for his support in solving many issues and assured him that the Muslim community of Abkhazia aimed at preserving stability and creative work for the good of the country.

The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Security Council, Mohamed Kilba and Advisor to the President Aslan Adzynba.
