The law was adopted by the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia on December 29, 2015.
Sukhum. February 1. Apsnypress. President Raul Khadjimba signed the Law of the Republic of Abkhazia "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Republic of Abkhazia".
The law defines the legal status of foreign citizens in the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as regulates relations between foreign citizens on the one hand, and public authorities, local authorities, officials of these bodies, on the other hand, arising from the stay (residence) of foreign citizens in the Republic of Abkhazia and the implementation of labor, business and other activities by them in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia.
