Raul Khadjimba: There is a preparation program to provide housing for young people of Abkhazia, next year's budget will involve its financing

Sukhum. May 16. Apsnypress. According Raul Khadjimba, this is his fourth meeting with the President of the Russian Federation. As the President said, yesterday in Sochi was discussed a range of issues that are very important for the Republic of Abkhazia: starting with the problems of security and defense, and ending with the gasification of the republic. 

Firstly, they talked about the possibility of improving the quality of work at the Psou border crossing: an increase in its capacity, separation pedestrian and vehicle parts, the launch of the train which also reduces part of the load capacity at the border. 

Secondly, the two presidents discussed the possibility of incorporating Abkhazia into the Russian Federation on import substitution program. "In this regard, we should most importantly organize a proposal", - said Raul Khadjimba. 

Thirdly, the involvement of investment in the eastern part of Abkhazia. And, in addition, the financial assistance that will be supplied to the Republic from June 1st, and accordingly, will implement a plan based on its use. These are pensions and higher wages to certain categories of state employees. 

Head of state stressed that he had paid an increased salary to prosecutors and judges. At a joint meeting the presidents also discussed the continuation of repair work on four electricity stations, simplify the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship, to restructure or write-off a part of the loan obtained by Abkhazia for the construction of the railway, as well as the possibility of subsidizing small and medium business volumes of Russian financial aid. 

Answering the question of Apsnypress on the results of visits to the regions of Russia and the republics of the North Caucasus, about what the business experience of its neighbors could be useful for Abkhazia, Raul Khadjimba said: "What can we learn? The willingness of people to work, work to a greater extent than we have, with full dedication. We say a lot, but little is being done! For example, there have not been a single step in 20 years in improving the quality of life of our young people, providing them with housing". He noted that this problem would be quite possible to decide on the experience of Udmurtia. "We have now instructed the Government and administration of the President to prepare an appropriate program and budget for the next year to lay its funding", - said the head of state. 

In addition, at the request of the correspondent of Apsnypress, RA President told about the discussion of the airport construction in Abkhazia with the President of the Russian Federation : "I have received a positive response about the possibilities of finding suitable people who can join this process. To date, are already prepared a significant number of materials and documents regulating the work of the structure".

At a press conference the President of Abkhazia commented on the recent resignation of Interior Minister Raul Lolua: "I can openly say that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has somewhere successes, but somewhere very serious shortcomings. As for the current situation, setting the tasks that had been performed on my part, were not correctly interpreted by the minister. I have nothing personal to the minister, and he will continue to be used on various works. And about the methods of work - we should never confuse cruelty with rigidity".
