Raul Khadjimba: we have got nothing to share, we have a country and a nation, and we are a part of this nation

RA President Raul Khadjimba gave a press conference to the Abkhaz media.

Sukhum. September 27. Apsnypress. Renata Chagava. First and foremost, RA President Raul Khadjimba congratulated journalists on Liberation Day of Sukhum. "From this day on we became close to winning. A few days later we came to the border and won!" - the head of state.
 
 Interview with President began with reporting on the work done in two work years. Raul Khadjimba noted that much has been done, but more needs to be done. "The situation in the country does not become worse. It is impossible not to notice that we are on the path of state building with our forces and means. The first steps have already been taken. Credit debt in 310 million has been closed, resolved issues to raise salaries, the establishment of the economy. It was not easy to carry out reforms within two years. Another is the problem of the beginning of the Constitutional Court. It is necessary to complete this work and to appoint honest people until the end of the year. Amendments to the Law "On privatization of state and municipal property" are also very important.
 
 Khadjimba commented on the theme of changing the head of government and the appointment of a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia: "This is not because everything is bad. Time requires appropriate changes, the active inclusion of people with new opportunities. It would be worse if people sat up in the structures of power doing nothing. We must not forget that the need for change was declared. We proceed from objective reality. With regard to the Government itself: not yet ended the period of its formation and, literally, persons in leadership positions of ministries and departments will be appointed in the near future. The main principle in selection of people - their professionalism".
 
 Raul Khadjimba called the priority tasks assigned to the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers "We have studied the strategy of development of Abkhazia with the previous composition of the government. Today, the main task is to work in areas relevant documents allowing to detail the amount of work: in villages, tourism, public health, other areas. There should be programs for the development of these sectors of the economy"
 
 President explained the situation in the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry: "With regard to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vyacheslav Chirikba decided to speak out. He named the reason for his resignation. In fact, the issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, demanded greater activity. There was a task to prepare the appropriate structure of foreign activity. We waited for almost a few months. As a result, the prepared paper was not consistent with the level of the Ministry and was sent back. And only recently we have received the document again. Also, the Control Chamber conducted an audit of the Ministry and its results have certain issues related to the financial activities of the Foreign Ministry". However, according to Khadjimba, foreign policy is conducted and has not stopped. "This does not mean there will be received immediate results. The situation in the world has changed since our recognition. And now, all efforts of the Abkhazian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are aimed to work in Latin America. There is some progress, all the relations that are built will be beneficial ", - said Khadjimba.
 
 The head of state continued the theme of personnel: "We first started to study questions of personnel records. A lot of people are sent to study abroad by our Ministry of Education and Science. Today it is necessary to conduct targeted operation that would allow us to bring back the footage to work for Abkhazia. In addition, I have proposed various political parties who claim to certain positions, submit relevant materials on the availability of personnel reserve".
 
 Khadjimba has given explanations about the work on the replacement of passports: "The activity of the work of the passport services has increased, we are working in areas. But even if so happens that most people do not get a passport, then what prevents them to vote with the old passports? Their action is not canceled. I do not see any concerns about the readiness for the elections".
 
 In addition, President responded to a question about the findings of the Government on the fact of MIA seizure: "I do not think the Government should draw conclusions, but appropriate structures. There is a criminal case in this process, more than 70 people were questioned. The work will be brought to its logical conclusion".
 
 And further Khadjimba joined the conversation on the theme of cooperation with the opposition: "We talked about the possibility of creating a political advisory board, which invited all. You know the reaction. I offered to build a house, to move to the construction of the hut, is senseless, I think,. But there is still the opportunity to begin to build a state, you need to move from words to deeds. The main thing is that the state would have take place. Tug of war will not benefit either the opposition nor the government. We must show the world that the complexity in building the state does not turn into confrontation. We have nothing to share, we have a country and a nation, and we are a part of this nation". 
 
 When asked about the "interesting events", which were predicted by one of the "Amtsakhara" leaders, as well as about the rumors about his own resignation, Raul Khadjimba said: "Any "interesting events" will be the prerogative of activities of the State Security Service. And it does it, it's a civilized way to preserve the state. We are not going to threaten anyone. Referring to rumors about my resignation, it is predicted in October. I think it is about to happen in this month, but only in 2019".
