Raul Khadzhimba and Zakhary Dzhioev discussed the organization of regular passenger services between the ports of Abkhazia and Russia

Sukhum. August 16. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba received deputy head of the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport of the Russian Federation Zakhary Dzhioev.
 
 During the meeting, issues of organizing regular passenger services between the ports of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation were discussed.
 
 “We are sure that all the work that we discussed with President of Russia will be implemented in stages. Our structures have long tried to solve these problems independently, a significant part of the initial necessary work related to the bay itself has already been completed, ” - President said.
 
 For his part, Zakhary Dzhioev said: “Our plans will certainly be implemented. The main purpose of my visit is to make sure that everything is ready for a test run. We expect that this approach will happen in October. It is clear that it will be without passengers so far, we will work out all technical issues, and, accordingly, next year we will organize cruises on an ongoing basis. ”
