I sincerely congratulate all the Muslims on the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

This day is one of the most significant holidays for every Muslim. The traditions of Islam are based on the eternal values of justice, mercy and concern for one's neighbor. It is gratifying to note that the peoples living in Abkhazia, regardless of their religious affiliation, have always had the traditions of interethnic friendship and good-neighborliness. I am convinced that these values will continue to be the basis of unity and social harmony.
