  The congratulation, in particular, states:
  
 "The historic date of November 6, 1978 marks one of the main achievements of the national liberation movement. On this day, our republic has the most important tools to convey truthful information to the broad audience, to disseminate materials about the history, culture and aspirations of the people of Abkhazia. Television and radio broadcasting still play an invaluable role in the upbringing of younger generation, development of culture and education and state building, in general.
   
   The work on television and radio requires complete dedication, a creative approach to solving emerging issues. Every day, without breaks and days off, the employees of the Abkhaz State TV and Radio Company closely follow events and trends in the country and the world to find the most interesting form of submitting news, analytical or entertaining materials.

 News and broadcasts of the Abkhazian state television are in great demand not only among the thousands of our republic's audience, but also among the representatives of the Abkhaz diaspora abroad, as well as all those who are interested in Abkhazia, its history and actual events.
