Raul Khajimba: all goods that come from Georgia must be fixed

President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba summed up the results for the first half of the year at a press conference.

Sukhum. 30 August. Apsnypress. At an extended press conference, President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba commented on the situation in the Gal district.
  
 President noted the improvement of criminal situation: "The Gal district is one of the quietest regions in Abkhazia. We declared the closure of the transition points, which allowed creating a favorable situation for the population itself. "
  
 At the same time, Raul Khajimba noted the need to legalize trade with Georgia: "The fact is that at the border along the Ingur River there are illegal relations with Georgia. This or that commodity, which moves to the Abkhaz side, creates dumping conditions in our market. In practice, our products become uncompetitive. For the price and at cost, goods transported from Georgia are cheaper, because there are no procedures at the border. We need to legalize this process. All goods that come from Georgia must be fixed. "
  
 At the same time, the President reminded: "Immediately after the war there were customs payments at the border along the Ingur River. Then they decided to give it up. But why should individuals be enriched, while the state will lose? »
  
 Summing up the topic, Khajimba stressed: "It is a question of strengthening and creating the material and technical base at Ingur post. I have no doubt that this will be done in the near future. "
