Raul Khajimba congratulated Mintimer Shaimiev on the anniversary

Raul Khajimba appreciated the personal contribution of Mintimer Shaimiev in the development of relations between Abkhazia and the Republic of Tatarstan.

 The message says:

 I cordially congratulate you on the glorious 80th anniversary! Please accept my most sincere and best wishes in connection with such a significant date in your life!
 
 Largely thanks to you, your tremendous efforts, Tatarstan today is one of the most developed republics of the Russian Federation. Special attention should be paid on your personal contribution to the revival of the statehood of Tatarstan.
 
 For many years of successful leading, you have laid a solid foundation which  is actively developing today.
 
You have the utmost respect in our country.
 
 You have made significant personal contribution to the development of relations between Abkhazia and the Republic of Tatarstan. We are well aware of the high level of your personal relationship with the First President of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba, your joint fruitful work in the bowels of the USSR Supreme Soviet.
 
 The people of Abkhazia appreciates the assistance and support given by Tatarstan in dramatic period for our country in 1992-1993, and no less complicated blockade years.
 
 Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Tatarstan in 1994 was one of the first international agreements signed by then unrecognized Abkhazia.
 
 It is gratifying that today the friendly relations between the two republics in various fields continues to grow and mature in the new conditions of the recognition of independence of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation.
 
Let me sincerely wish you good health, Abkhaz longevity, peace, prosperity and further success in your work for the good of the people of the Republic of Tatarstan".
