Raul Khajimba congratulated the people of Abkhazia on Constitution Day

"We attained our inalienable right to self-determination, and the Constitution defined Abkhazia as a sovereign, democratic and law-based state," - the congratulation reads.

Sukhum. 26 November. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba congratulated the residents of the republic on Constitution Day.

 The congratulation says:

 «Dear fellow citizens!

 I cordially congratulate you on the state holiday - the Constitution Day of the Republic of Abkhazia.
  
 The Basic Law of the Republic of Abkhazia, adopted on November 26, 1994, consolidated the results of the national liberation struggle of the Abkhazian people, the main stage of which was the war of 1992-1993.

 Despite all the hardships our multinational people had to endure, we defended our inalienable right to self-determination, and the Constitution defined Abkhazia as a sovereign, democratic and law-based state.

 The guarantee of the formation of a qualitatively new legal system and the construction of a stable political system is strict observance of constitutional prescriptions and protection of the Constitution.

 We will consistently implement the ideas and principles enshrined in the Constitution, to seek in practice the direct action of the Basic Law, so that every citizen of our country will feel in words and in practice that the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution are protected by the state.
