Raul Khajimba: it is wrong that only the opposition decides the fate of the President

Sukhum. November 30. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. A meeting of activists of the Republican public organization of veterans of the War of Abkhazia of 1992-1993 "Aruaa" held in Sukhum, was attended by representatives of the RPP "National Unity Forum", public and political figures, parliamentarians.
 
President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba spoke: "Today they say that the government is destroyed, the economy is not developed, there is no money. But in this case, how could the budget has doubled in two years? How were we able to pay 900 million debt on railway and banking  loans, how loans returned to the National Bank, paid domestic debt to the people? I am sure that in two or three years, our budget will amount to 7-8 billion. We have to do everything possible. We need to earn money on our own, there is no alternative! Russia has recognized us, and will not change the decision. But we have to show we are a state in fact".
 
 Khajimba identified a range of issues to be discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin: "I am going to Moscow with a few questions. First question is about our dedt, we need to live on the money we receive. We can not pay the debt and develop the state! Abkhazia debts more than three billion rubles to Russia. Another question - electricity. In 2018 we will have to suspend work in Inguri hydroelectric power station, as there is a need to conduct rehabilitation works, which drag on for a year. In addition, the road between Gagra and Gantiadi village is in a terrible state. You well know the situation with Gumista bridge, the construction of which requires a lot of money. These issues will also be discussed".
 
The Head of State commented on the activities of opposition forces, "People in the opposition did not support my candidacy during the elections. But there are a lot of those who have supported me, who voted for me to be a head of state. It is wrong that only the opposition decides the fate of the president. If my people gather and say: "Go away" - I will not stay even for one day. But I do have the power and opportunity, I do not cheat and do not intend to. I am sure that there are people who are for the state to be built!"
