Raul Khajimba met with Anti Turunen

 At the same time, Raul Khajimba noted that during the Geneva discussions a lot of important issues are being discussed, some have solutions, but there is still a lot of work ahead. "I hope that the actions that are being taken will be successful. A lot of effort is attached to make decisions, "- President said. The head of state stressed that the Georgian side continues to block the adoption of the most important decisions. 
  
 For his part, Anti Turunen thanked Raul Khajimba for the meeting. "This is my last meeting with you as a co-chairman at the Geneva discussions from the United Nations. I want to thank you for your support, " - he said.
 
 Anti Turunen noted that the Geneva discussions are not an easy discussion platform, where a lot of vital issues are discussed, such as the preservation of cultural heritage, the transfer of archives, environmental issues, but the most important question is about the non-use of force.
 
 According to him, despite the progress, in particular, in the sphere of environmental protection, the exchange of documents and the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage that has been achieved, there are still difficulties in the dialogue between the parties.

 Anti Turunen stressed that the continuation of the dialogue is important for maintaining stability in the entire Caucasian region, as well as for the social and economic development of Abkhazia.
 
 "During the seven years of my co-chairmanship I was able to observe the positive development of Abkhazia, in particular, in social sphere, economy and infrastructure," - he said. 

 Anti Turunen added that the UN structures are ready to continue providing assistance in matters of education, documentation, etc. "Thank you for the support that you rendered to me and my mission, to all my employees," - Turunen said.
 
 Raul Khajimba also thanked Anti Turunen for the efforts being made. At the same time, the Head of State stressed that there are difficulties on some issues and their decisions are dragged out.
 
"But there will never be a reverse process. The world has changed, it is necessary to build relations differently, "- said Raul Khajimba.
