Raul Khajimba met with Vyacheslav Bitarov

President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba met with the Head of the Republic of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov in Vladikavkaz during the visit to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, at the invitation of Vyacheslav Bitarov. The message says:

 "Vyacheslav Bitarov: Raul Djumkovich, I am glad to welcome you. I know that you came to us from South Ossetia. I would like to welcome you in North Ossetia. I am always glad to you, our brotherly nations have always lived in mutual understanding. On the fronts of all wars, the Great Patriotic War, and during the War of Abkhazia, our volunteers stood side by side with Abkhaz brothers, and the Abkhazians also stood in South Ossetia with our southern brothers in difficult times. I would like to develop our relationship on issues of culture, economics and others. 

 I want to thank you for staying here even for a short time, but we are very pleased.

 Raul Khajimba: I would like to express my gratitude for the reception. Undoubtedly, our relations should develop. We have long traditions laid down by our ancestors, Abkhazians and Ossetians are friends from time immemorial, and this is a very important component of the development for us. 

 There is something to fill our relationship with. Yesterday, while in South Ossetia, we signed a number of agreements that will be aimed at strengthening ties. And also here, in the North Caucasus, it is important for us to build relationships with all the republics. Being in the North Caucasus I want to see our Ossetian brothers. There are spheres of interaction - the economy, and agriculture. Now in Abkhazia we are actively developing the resort sector, agriculture, the Russian Federation helps us with it. But we ourselves are increasing our capabilities, our budget has grown almost twofold in comparison with the past years. Thank you again for the reception."
