Raul Khajimba on energy

President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba summed up the results for the first half of the year at a press conference.

 Raul Khajimba stressed that it is impossible to keep the energy industry alone with the efforts of bureaucratic structures. "Society should approach this issue in a totally different way. Only the Gagra district paid only 16 million rubles out of 130 million rubles for consumed electricity for the first half. Payment for electricity is a tremendous resource that would allow RUE "Chernomorenergo" to solve many tasks, "- said the Head of State.
  
 Khajimba noted that with the help of Russia the state of affairs at many power substations changed. "Over the past three or four years, there have been no sharp changes, no power cuts. But the transmission lines and internal networks remain in a deplorable state. We ourselves will not be able to implement the program to change this situation, we need investors. We have a corresponding program in the Cabinet of Ministers, we laid about 10 billion rubles for such works. At the first stage, it is necessary to begin work in the amount of at least 3 billion rubles in order to remove many questions, "- explained the President.
  
 In addition, the Head of State said that the plan of the next investment program included work related to the delta stations in the Gal region.
 
 At the same time, Raul Khajimba noted that at Sukhum HPP the work that was needed in order to launch this station was made. "Now there is a question of regulating the relationship between Chernomorenergo and the station itself. I believe that we need to transfer it. This can create additional opportunities that will allow us to connect to this station in emergency cases, " - Khajimba said.
  
 Raul Khajimba informed that in 2019 there would be no stopping of Ingur HPP. "But this does not mean that we should sit with our hands folded. We need to think about the flows and those lines that can withstand these flows, " - he summed up.
