Raul Khajimba on opposition representatives' statement "creating conditions for president's resignation is a call to chaos!

At a meeting with Gulrysh district's activists the Head of State made an assessment of the socio-economic situation and political events in the country.

Gulryshsh. 24 January. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba met with the public of Gulrysh district.

 The meeting participants asked the Head of State a number of issues, in particular, about repair of water supply networks, road infrastructure, Dranda and Warcha secondary schools, water supply in Pshap. Discussing these problems, Head of State gave appropriate instructions to Prime Minister and head of the Gulrysh District Administration.

President also noted: "All these days we have traveled through the regions of Abkhazia, talking with people. This is done to show we have a chance to build a country, and we should not miss it. A lot of criticism and talk are heard, but a lot has been done during this period of time. Of course, I would like better, more finance, but we have what we have had created. We were able to make our budget doubled, could create conditions for this budget, with all the difficulties to be fulfilled. I am often asked what has changed? Much! The attitude of our people to their property, to the process of budget formation, we create conditions for the country's own capabilities to grow. This is a difficult process and it will not be achieved in 2-3 years. I hope that Abkhazia has a bright future and I believe in it! "

 Raul Khajimba commented on the stated intention of the opposition to "create conditions for president's resignation": "What conditions are you talking about? Article 64 of the Constitution clearly states for which the President can be removed from office. The conditions that the opposition speaks about are destabilization, the creation of a difficult situation for our society. This is a destructive attitude, a call to chaos! "
 
  Summing up President said: "It happens that the authorities do not have time to solve all the tasks until the end of their constitutional term. On our part we did everything to not let the country fall into the abyss. We have a chance to be! And the opposition with authorities need to find common ground, work together."
