Raul Khajimba on the fight against the spread of drugs

President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba summed up the results of the first half of the year at a press conference.

Sukhum. 30 August. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba spoke about the fight against the spread of narcotic drugs which is conducted in the country and, in particular, in state structures.
 
 Khajimba recalled the high-profile judicial precedent when there were sentenced foreign citizens accused of distributing narcotic substances with the use of capital punishment. At the same time, the President stressed: "Why do we have such an electoral system of approaches? Let's talk about toughening of punishments towards our citizens who deal with the import of drugs. "
  
 Also, the Head of State said that based on the results of the audit conducted in the state structures, employees who received narcotic drugs were identified. "The Ministry of Health needs to fight it, introduce appropriate methods of treatment. In relation to those who use drugs, that democratic form of influence which has been used so far, unfortunately, does not yet bring any results. We need to look for other methods of influence. "
