Raul Khajimba: our duty is to prevent the collapse of the state

The Head of State addressed to the gathering in support of the course pursued by the government.

Sukhum. December 15. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba appealed to the people:
 
 "Our responsibility, as citizens is to prevent the collapse of the state. To live in this newly established state and then ruin it - is a bad idea for all of us. Only yesterday we remembered the victims of the Lata tragedy. How can we, after all the hardships be engaged in split? I have no fears, not because I am an Iron Man. Everything that we do is done sincerely and honestly. We have changed a lot, and to not see it - is unfair. Some people do not like to move along this path. Many believe that we have to live under the old scheme. But the old one can not live today. If we eat away all that we are given as financial aid, not creating conditions for economic growth, it will be just disastrous.

We need to learn to keep our people and country at our own expense. Abkhazia has such opportunities. In just two and a half years  a budget of 2 billion 700 million rubles rose to 5 billion rubles this year. This is a significant figure, though some explain it by currency exchange rate differences. But then, when there were received almost 30 billion rubles by the previous government how the money affected the increase in our budget? Unfortunately, there was not the sum more than 2 billion 700 million. 
 
All our actions are linked in order to build relationships that allow Abkhazia to take place as a state. Many do not understand what is happening in our country. But if we click the brink of a process that we have with you, there will not be way back. I believe in the fact that our people are wise. We can not allow illegal actions. But some are trying to escalate the situation. I would like to ask to defend our country and people. There is no alternative!"
