Sukhum. 20 October. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba received the world champion in freestyle wrestling among young men Inar Ketiya and his mentor Dzuka Beniya. The official website of the Head of State reported.
Raul Khajimba congratulated Inar Ketiya on his victory at the World Wrestling Championship among young men, held from 6 to 10 September in Greece. President expressed his gratitude to the mentor athlete Dzuka Beniya for the upbringing and training of more than one generation of wrestlers.
"Everyone in Abkhazia is happy for such victories. They are possible thanks to those who stand next to the talented youth, gives them the opportunity to do and go forward. The names of your students today are widely known outside of our republic. I wish you, Inar, good spirits, good health, good luck. I am sure that you still have many victories ahead of you," - the President said.
In addition, Raul Khajimba noted that the state will provide all possible support to young athletes.
In his turn, Inar Ketiya told President about the competitions in which he participated and won victories.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State handed athlete a memorable gift.
