Raul Khajimba: the Abkhazians who experienced the tragedy of Muhajirun understand and feel the pain of the Armenian people

President of Abkhazia expressed condolences in connection with the 103-year anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Sukhum. 24 April. Apsnypress. President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba expressed his condolences to the Armenian people in connection with the tragic events of the beginning of the 20th century.

 The condolence text says:

 "Dear compatriots!

 On this sorrowful and mourning day, I want to express my condolences to the whole Armenian people. It's been 103 years since the events that killed more than a million Armenians.

 Abkhazians who experienced the tragedy of mahajirun, understand and feel the pain of the Armenian people. Tens of thousands of Armenians who lost their homes found refuge in Abkhazia. Already in modern history Armenians defended the freedom of the Republic of Abkhazia from the Georgian aggressor.

 I am confident that fraternal relations between our peoples will continue to grow stronger. We are obliged not to allow return of past tragic pages of history in the future.

 I wish everyone peace, good and prosperity. "
