Raul Khajimba: young people today are actively involved in life of our states

 President of Abkhazia addressed the participants with a welcoming speech: "Young people today are actively involved in life of our states.That's really great to be called young leaders, to organize movements of young people aimed at changing the situation in our countries. The leader is the one who led the people and does everything for the good of his country. Undoubtedly, people with such qualities are able to solve problems. There are a lot of questions that our young citizens can and should influence. Today requires the inclusion of young people in politics, creating conditions for young people to have more opportunities to engage in entrepreneurship. In turn, the state is obliged to create all necessary conditions for rapprochement of young entrepreneurs with existing small and medium-sized businesses. However, the return from the younger generation should be the maximum. It's not  an easy experience for our country now. But 25 years of post-war construction of the state and those international recognition that exists today, give us grounds to say that we are on the right track. Russia provides us with support, creates financial and economic conditions. But I have repeatedly said that the help of a friend is important and necessary, nevertheless we should fully take place as a state.  

    Abkhazia could use Russia's assistance in developing main directions of economy of our republic. This, of course, is tourism and the agricultural sector. Thanks to them, our economy will be able to take place.

 Undoubtedly, young people should take part in all these processes. Today I can say with confidence that there are a significant number of young people in the system of state power. They work actively, are involved in various structures, occupy high enough posts. For example, the Minister of Economy. These are young people who understand why they came and are ready to bear responsibility for the area of ​​work that is entrusted to them. I am sincerely glad that, both in Abkhazia and in Russia, there are young people who are ready to work for the good of our countries. We in Abkhazia have the State Committee for Youth Policy, the Council of Young Diplomats, and all of them are actively involved in various spheres. Young leaders must develop in such a way that in the future we can talk about transferring management to them. I'm sure it will be this way. 

 It is very important for us to build relations with Russia. It is our main strategic partner, the country that first recognized us. We should became a state, so that the Russian Federation and the whole world will see that everything that has happened in recent years has not been in vain. Russia was in a difficult situation after the events of August 2008. And we must prove the truth of Russia. Recently, we were recognized by Syria. It is at war with the whole world, and only Russia is standing side by side. Syria was an important regional player. But, unfortunately, today there is such a situation. Syria did not fear, recognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia. While the rest of the countries do not do this, we do not need to get all the world's recognition overnight. Together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the leadership of Russia we will achieve success. I would like to conclude by wishing all of us success, strengthening cooperation, and of course, victory of the Russian team at the World Cup. " 
    
 Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Ekaterina Dragunova informed Forum participants about the main directions of Russia's youth policy and joint projects of Abkhaz and Russian youth, in particular, in the field of entrepreneurship. "I want to thank you for supporting the youth and our joint projects. I am sure that our work will be continued with redoubled force, "- she noted. 
  
 Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia Teimuraz Kvekveskiri spoke about the main directions of the youth policy of Abkhazia. He also noted that the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs willingly shares its achievements, which the State Committee applies, taking into account the peculiarities of the Republic of Abkhazia. 
    
Chairman of the Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutsky told President about the successful participation of the delegation of Abkhazia in the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, as well as the project activities of the organization. He also proposed the establishment of an Abkhaz-Russian youth tourism center in order to increase the flow of tourists to both countries.  
  
 Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry Areg Aghasaryan thanked President for supporting the participation of members of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia in the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi and reported on the areas of cooperation between the Councils of Young Diplomats of Abkhazia and Russia.
 
 Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inar Ladaria in a videoconference format told the participants about the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi and thanked the organizing committee for fruitful work. 
  
 A number of initiatives on strengthening cooperation in the sphere of the youth policy of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation were voiced at the forum, in particular, to create a youth parliament in Abkhazia and to cooperate with a similar structure of Russia, to hold a charity football match between Abkhaz and Russian volunteers and establish an analogue to the Russian "Leaders of Abkhazia".
 
 President supported proposed initiatives, and noted that they represent opportunities for young people to participate in the life of the state.
