Relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nauru should be developed in accordance with the international law - Khadjimba

Sukhum. 20 April. Apsnypress. "Despite the fact that our countries are small, I think that regardless of the size the relationship between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nauru should be formed in accordance with international law - said welcoming the official guests of Nauru RA President Raul Khadjimba. - I am glad that you were able to see the beauty of Abkhazia, to talk to people. I was told that you even visited the Abkhaz traditional wedding. No doubt, you have submitted Abkhazia as it is, with its history and the events that Abkhaz people had to endure. I believe that positive things are waiting for us and those with whom we communicate".

In response, the Vice President, Finance Minister of Nauru David Adeang Uayau gave Khadjimba greetings from the President and Parliament of the RN, and also noted that there are very welcome and warm people in Abkhazia. Delegation of Nauru were impressed by huge reserve of fresh water in the Republic of Abkhazia, the guests "fell in love" with the beauty of Lake Ritsa and the snowy peaks of the Greater Caucasus mountain range. 

In the development of friendly relations between the two countries Adeang David Uayau put forward a number of initiatives: "We see an opportunity to send athletes to Abkhazia and representatives of various cultural associations. Such contacts allow the two countries better know each other". He proposed to organize a visit of the Parliamentary delegation of RN to Abkhazia  and invited representatives of political and cultural community of Abkhazia in Nauru. "If you take time to come in Nauru - said David Adeang Uayau referring to Raul Khadjimba - my colleagues will be happy to arrange fishing and show the beauty of the island of Nauru". 

In the near future is planned the signing of three agreements on mutual cooperation between the countries, as well as a number of foreign policy issues. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia discussed the appointment of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Nauru in the Republic of Abkhazia. "It would be the first step to increase the representation of RN in RA. We are a very small country, nevertheless, our state is a member of the United Nations. Nauru understands and realizes what tests to go through by the countries committed to international recognition. In this respect, Abkhazia can count on our friendly support", - said the vice-president, finance minister of RN. 

In conclusion of the visit, the sides exchanged memorable gifts.
