Republic of Abkhazia and Republic of Udmurtia are developing cooperation

Sukhum. July 15. Apsnypress. In early May 2015 President Raul Khadjimba held a working visit to the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation. 

One of the results of the visit was the signing of the Memorandum on the development of trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation, which was signed by Head of the Republic of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Dmitry Serikov. 

In order to implement these agreements Udmurt side presented a draft Action Plan for the development of cooperation between the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia for 2015 - 2017 years, the official website of the President of Abkhazia. 

The Action Plan includes joint projects and areas of cooperation, covering a wide range of bilateral cooperation. Scheduled for a large volume of specific measures for the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation, interaction in the sphere of culture, education, sports and tourism. 

The two sides will focus on the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation.  

Events for a successful cooperation in this field have been already planned: economic forums - both at the expert and ministerial levels; on-line presentation of the trade-economic and investment potential; identification of areas of trade and economic cooperation in the medium term - 2015 - 2017 years; the formation of a list of mutually beneficial and long-term contractual relations between economic entities; development of cooperation between the chambers of commerce of Abkhazia and Udmurtia, and creating unique opportunities to attract Abkhazia to participate in the Russian exhibitions and fairs and presentation events. 

In addition, the draft Action Plan pays special attention to the exchange of experience between the ministries and departments of Abkhazia and Udmurtia (Russian Federation). Activities will be undertaken for the development of humanitarian cooperation that affect people of all ages and professions. It is planned to hold meetings and forums of employees of cultural, educational, medical and sports fields. 

Activities for the organization of information interaction of Abkhazia and Udmurtia (Russian Federation). Here we are talking not only about the information field of bilateral cooperation, but also the development of the information environment around Abkhazia, referring to the distribution of a positive image of our country in Russia and abroad. 

Action Plan for the development of cooperation between Republic of Abkhazia and Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation for 2015 - 2017 years, is proposed to sign on the Joint International Forum of Udmurtia (II International Business Forum "Business bridge in Udmurtia" and IV «Week of the investor in the Udmurt Republic"), which will be held in the Udmurt Republic, from 13 to 16 October 2015. 

"Week of the investor in the Udmurt Republic" involves not only the representatives of other regions of the Russian Federation but foreign partners from Austria, Azerbaijan, Germany, Canada, the Czech Republic and Turkey. Participation in the forum will give additional opportunity to present Abkhazia's potential and opportunities to the business community of Udmurtia, Russian regions, as well as representatives of the countries of near and far abroad.
